William Lasher

William Lasher has extensive experience in the finance and investment sectors, particularly within the energy industry. From July 2012 to April 2015, William worked at UBS Investment Bank in the Global Energy Group as an Analyst and later as Associate Director, focusing on M&A and financial advisory engagements for the oil and gas sector. Following this role, William became the Managing Member of Lasher Interests, a generalist private investment firm, in December 2018. Concurrently, since December 2018, William has also managed Praesidium Oil Co., which specializes in acquiring mineral interests in West Texas. Additionally, William serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for PermianLide, a New Mountain Capital Portfolio Company, since July 2022. Prior experience includes tenure as an Investment Analyst at Sherborne Investors from July 2015 to July 2018, managing substantial investment portfolios. William holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance and a Master's degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.
