Barry Evans

Barry Evans is a seasoned software engineer with a diverse background in programming, system architecture, and ontology development. Currently serving as a Senior Research Software Engineer at Permion since September 2020, Barry specializes in symbolic programming, advanced graph algorithms, and neural network programming. Barry's previous roles include Prolog Programmer at Kyndi, Vice President at Morgan Stanley, and Senior Software Engineer at Google. Notable contributions include directing temporal logic engineering at Medical Decision Logic and serving as Chief Ontology Architect at PURUS Technologies. Barry has extensive experience in model-driven architecture and has worked on significant projects, including the design of a network resource manager at Ericsson AB and the development of GNU Prolog for the Macintosh platform. Barry completed a degree at The University of British Columbia between 1986 and 1989.
