Dan Hatcher

Dan Hatcher has over 20 years of experience in the finance and private equity industry. Dan currently works at Permira as the Managing Director, where they are responsible for originating and executing direct investments by Permira's credit funds. Prior to that, they worked at Palatine Private Equity LLP as a part of the investment team. Before that, they were a Partner at Gresham Private Equity, where they worked on multiple MBO and growth capital investments. Dan also held three NED board seats during their tenure at Gresham. Dan started their career at EY, where they worked in various roles within the M&A and Transaction Advisory Services departments.

Dan Hatcher's education history begins with their time at Teign School in Devon from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained their GCSEs. Dan then attended Exeter College in Devon from 1995 to 1997, although they did not pursue a specific degree during this period, focusing instead on 'A' Levels studies. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Birmingham and earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geography, completing their studies from 1997 to 2000. Their education journey continued at The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a CISI Diploma in Investments and Securities.
