Leo Barnes

Leo Barnes is an investment professional at Permira since March 2021, focusing on climate and technology private and growth equity investments in London, including a notable investment in GoCardless. Prior to this role, Leo co-founded Wager, a social betting app backed by Forward Partners, which was acquired by BetBull in 2020. Leo's earlier experience includes serving as a senior consultant at Accenture's Javelin Group, where work involved clients such as Samsung and Unilever, along with internships at Barclays Investment Bank and The Blackstone Group. Leo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford and is an alumnus of Eton College.
