Phanikrishna Modali

Phanikrishna Modali has been working in the technology industry since 1998. Phanikrishna started as a Research Scholar for Optical Instrumentation at RWTH Aachen. In 2000, they moved to Marconi Communications as a SQA Engineer. After a year, they joined Maple Optical Systems as a Sr. QA Engineer. In 2003, they moved to McAfee as a Sr. Sustaining Manager for Network Security. In 2012, they joined FireEye, Inc. as General Manager of HELIX, VP of Cloud Analytics, and Director of Sustaining and Customer Engineering. In 2016, they were promoted to VP of Engineering at FireEye. In 2021, they became Co-Founder and SVP of Engineering at Permiso Security.

Phanikrishna Modali received their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electronics and Instrumentation from Kakatiya University between 1990 and 1994. Phanikrishna then went on to receive their MS in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras between 1995 and 1998.
