Siegfried Behrens is the Chief Executive Officer of Permuta Technologies and a national non-profit board member focused on student achievement, leading current efforts in technology solutions for the public sector. They previously led Blackboard's Global Sales as President (2012–2013) and served as a charter founder and advisory board member for the Re-Imagining K-12 project at the Convergence Center for Policy Resolution (2012–2020). Behrens co-founded Kenner Technologies and served as President (2017–2021), and held the role of General Manager, Global Education at Stratasys (2015–2017). They contributed to Microsoft as General Manager, US Public Sector Dynamics (1996–2012), delivering large-scale education and public sector deals. Behrens earned a BA in International Politics from Penn State (1990–1994) and studied Aeronautics/Aviation at Embry-Riddle (1989–1990).
