Michael Korber

Michael Korber has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. Michael began their career at Drexel Burnham Lambert as a Treasury Settlements specialist. Michael then worked as a Credit Analyst at Westpac Institutional Bank before joining Macquarie Group, where they held various positions including Manager of Credit Risk NZ, Associate Director, and Division Director. At Macquarie, they were instrumental in establishing the credit team, processes, and credit fund products. In 2004, Michael joined Perpetual Limited as the Head of Credit & Fixed Income, where they successfully built the team and developed various credit and fixed income fund products. Michael recently became the Managing Director, overseeing the credit and fixed income division. Additionally, they serve as the Chairman and Director at APIR Group since 2018.

Michael Korber earned a Bachelor of Economics degree from The Australian National University in 1981. Michael then went on to study Banking and Finance, earning a Graduate Diploma from London Metropolitan University in 1984.
