Alisher Y. is an AI governance pioneer and subject matter expert in AI safety and security, with over 16 years of experience in building trust within enterprises. Currently, Alisher serves as a Business Fellow at Perplexity and the Head of Security & Privacy Assurance at ASAPP, while also being an active member of The CISO Society and an AI Safety Advisor at The CyberNest. Previously, Alisher held several key roles at PwC, including Technology Risk Assurance Director, where they led numerous projects focused on IT risk and control assessments for notable industry leaders. Alisher holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona.
