Asra Aslam

Asra Aslam, PhD, currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Data Science and AI at The University of Sheffield and holds a position as a Perplexity AI Business Fellow at Perplexity. Previous roles include General Chair for Women in Computer Vision and Machine Learning Instructor at Great Learning. Asra has contributed significantly to research as a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher and Machine Learning Lead at the University of Leeds and as a Principal Investigator at The Alan Turing Institute. Academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Vision from the National University of Ireland, Galway, and a graduate certification in Data Science and Machine Learning from MIT.
