Colin Dunn

Colin Dunn is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various innovative companies. Currently serving as a member of the design staff at Perplexity since September 2025, Colin leads the Agent Experiences group. Prior to this, Colin was the CEO and cofounder of Visual Electric, where significant achievements included raising $5 million in funding and reaching over $2 million in annual recurring revenue within a year. Colin's career also includes serving as Head of Design at Universe, where a product and brand design organization was successfully expanded, and as Head of Product Design at Playspace, focused on team collaboration products. Earlier experience as a product designer at Dropbox included involvement in emerging product development. Colin holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
