Lingxiao Pan

Lingxiao Pan is a skilled software engineer and technical expert with a diverse background in artificial intelligence and full-stack development. Currently a Member of the Technical Staff at Perplexity since January 2025, Lingxiao Pan contributes to the AI Data and ML Team, focusing on LLM model evaluation, answer quality, and tooling for data pipelines. Previous experience includes roles at Rhymes.AI and 01.AI, alongside an internship at Hyperlink where capabilities in chatbot functionality using OpenAI's GPT-3.5 Turbo were demonstrated. A strong foundation in software engineering was established during internships at Blue Goji and Jungheinrich Lift Truck Corp. Lingxiao Pan holds a Master of Engineering in Control of Robotics and Autonomous Systems from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanics and Repairers from Shanghai University of Engineering Science.
