Melissa McBride is a pioneering learning architect and the co-founder and CEO of Sophia Technologies and Sophia High School. With eighteen years of leadership experience across Canada, London, and the Middle East, Melissa has championed innovative hybrid education models, including the UK's first DfE-accredited online school. They hold a Master's degree from UCL Institute of Education and have advised numerous global school groups on effective transitions to hybrid learning. Currently, Melissa continues to focus on enhancing educational ecosystems while exploring their interest in Esports and Gaming. In addition to their professional commitments, they are a parent to four children and enjoy walking three dogs.
