Pete Sonsini

Pete Sonsini is a seasoned venture investor and board member with extensive experience in technology and enterprise software. Currently serving as a board member at Perplexity, Matroid, Databricks, Anyscale, Instabase, and Conviva, Pete also co-founded Laude Ventures, an early-stage investment firm focused on supporting technical entrepreneurs. Previous roles include Director of Product Management at Mirapoint and Senior Director of Strategic Alliances at VMware, where significant OEM relationships were established. Pete holds an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Political Economy of Industrial Societies from the University of California, Berkeley.
