Birgit Brandt

Partner & Head, Asia Pacific Region at Perrett Laver

Birgit Brandt has worked in various roles since 1995. Birgit was a Research Fellow at the University of Warwick from 1995 to 2001, then Head of Research Programme at the Big Lottery Fund (previously Community Fund) from 2001 to 2005, Head of Funding at The Royal Society from 2005 to 2008, and Director of Programmes at the British Academy from 2008 to 2012. Most recently, they have been Partner & Head of the Asia Pacific Region at Perrett Laver since 2012.

Birgit Brandt obtained a Diplom (equivalent to MA) in Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin. Birgit then went on to get a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Race and Ethnic Studies from the University of Warwick. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sociology from the same university.
