James B. has a long and varied work experience. James began their career in 2004 as a History Teacher, Assistant Housemaster at St Edward's School in Oxford. James then moved on to Oxford University Rugby Football Club in the same year, taking on the roles of Blues Attack/Backs Coach, Under 21s Head Coach and Women's Head Coach. In 2009, they moved to Merchiston Castle School in Edinburgh, where they held the roles of Director of Rugby, Rogerson Housemaster, History Teacher and 1XV Coach. In 2011, they joined the Scottish Rugby Union as Assistant Coach of the Under 18 and Under 17 National Teams, as well as Scottish Universities Sport as Men's Sevens Head Coach. In 2013, they moved to Cranbrook School, where they held the roles of Director of Boarding, Rawson Housemaster, History Teacher and 1XV Coach. In 2019, they became Deputy Principal/Head of Senior School at Kinross Wolaroi School. Currently, they are an MBA Candidate at AGSM @ UNSW Business School and a Senior Consultant at Perrett Laver.

James B. has a diverse educational background. James began their studies at Durham University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in History in 1999. James then completed a PGCE with QTS at the University of Buckingham in 2008. In 2020, they began studying for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at AGSM @ UNSW Business School, with a focus on Change. In 2021, they completed an MBA at Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, with a focus on Complexity and System Thinking, Negotiation, Communication and Crisis Management. In 2022, they completed an MBA at School of Management at Fudan University, with a focus on Management.
