Gerald Rajan is a highly experienced pharmaceutical professional with extensive expertise in drug design and development. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Scientist (Associate Director) at Zoetis Inc. since December 2017, Gerald has also been with Perrigo Company plc as an R&D Manager since June 2014. Previous roles include Associate Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist at Merck from September 2009 to May 2014, and Research Scientist at KV Pharmaceutical from April 2007 to August 2009. Gerald’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and Drug Design from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, complemented by a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Management from Patten University.
