Triona Schmelter

Triona (Byrne) Schmelter is a seasoned public company President and Board Director with extensive experience in the consumer goods sector, particularly in food, beverage, health and wellness, and consumer healthcare. Currently, Triona serves as EVP and President of Consumer Self-Care Americas and Global Portfolio Optimization at Perrigo Company plc and is a member of Extraordinary Women on Boards. Triona’s previous roles include Chief Transformation Officer and Division President at TreeHouse Foods, as well as Senior Marketing Manager at General Mills. Triona holds an MBA in Marketing from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BBA from the University of Notre Dame. Additionally, Triona is a Board Member and Compensation Committee Chair at Steelcase.
