Lance Needham, M.D. is an experienced pathologist with a background in blood banking and transfusion medicine. After completing a Pathology Residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center from July 2006 to June 2011, Lance Needham served as a Surgical Pathology Fellow at Georgia Health Sciences University from July 2012 to June 2013 and as a Fellow in Blood Bank & Transfusion Medicine at Georgia Health Sciences Health System from July 2011 to June 2012. Since August 2013, Lance Needham has been a pathologist at Southern Pathology and has been an Assistant Professor at Ponce School of Medicine since July 2014, teaching hematology and blood banking to second-year medical students. Lance Needham holds an A.B. in Psychology & Neurobiology from Princeton University and an M.D. from Vanderbilt University.
