George Pipis

George Pipis is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as a Senior Director and Data Scientist at Persado since December 2012. Having co-founded Predictive Hacks, a data science blog, in August 2019, George also held positions as a Statistician and Data Analyst at Upstream from October 2008 to December 2012, and worked as a Market Analyst at Société Générale earlier in 2008. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, an MSc in Financial Mathematics from The University of Edinburgh, and participation in a Natural Language Processing Nanodegree program at Udacity in 2018, along with a BSc in Statistics from Athens University of Economics and Business.
