David Papp

David Papp is a seasoned technology professional with diverse experience in founding and leading companies in the software and data engineering sectors. Currently serving as Co-Founder of OpenShield, David is also a Foundation Member of the FinOps Foundation. Previous roles include Founder of Persio, which focuses on unifying customer data, and Senior Data Engineer at Stealth, where expertise in AWS, Apache Airflow, and real-time data streaming was applied. David held key positions at WhenThen as Engineering Manager, Bitpanda as Head of Development, and Recart as Chief Architect & Co-Founder, where infrastructure architecture and traffic management were primary responsibilities. Additional contributions include serving as Advisor at Neticle and Chief Technical Officer & Co-Founder at Fandepay, developing innovative invoicing systems.
