Peter Hitzeman

Peter Hitzeman is a cybersecurity architect and leader currently serving as the Director of Product Security Strategy at Persistent Systems, LLC. With a background in hands-on technical roles and high-level strategy within DoD programs, they specialize in designing secure systems and navigating complex authorization processes. Peter's previous experience includes roles as a Cybersecurity Architect, Team Lead at Ping IT Services, and Managing Editor at Breaking Muscle, where they also contributed to the development of secure systems. Additionally, they co-authored the book "Suffer Smarter," focusing on personal growth through discomfort, and actively mentor athletes as a CrossFit coach. Peter holds an Associate's Degree in Air and Space Operations Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics.
