Rick Haffer

Rick Haffer is an experienced embedded software engineer currently employed at Persistent Systems, LLC since January 2020, where roles also include program engineer and field application engineer. Prior to this, Rick worked as an undergraduate research assistant at Missouri State University in the Department of Computer Science, focusing on computer vision and the integration of unmanned aerial and ground vehicles. Rick's previous experience includes serving as a Veteran Education Transition Liaison at the Veterans Administration Work Study and holding various administrative positions in the US Army, where notable accomplishments include optimizing administrative processes and managing travel logistics for a large team. Rick Haffer earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Western Governors University, completing the degree in 2023.
