Brian Payton is an accomplished Senior Software Engineer with over 30 years of industry experience in developing and deploying large-scale systems across diverse technologies. Currently at Persistent Systems, Brian spearheads the design and implementation of migration tooling for IBM Cloud Pak for Data System. Previously, Brian worked at IBM, where notable achievements included leading the development of the NodeOS and Migration components and co-founding the open-source Eclipse Data Tools Platform project. Brian holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University, graduating magna cum laude.
