Dr. Prashant Deshmukh currently serves as the Engineering Lead at Persistent Systems, beginning in March 2024. Prior to this role, Dr. Deshmukh was a Senior Software Engineer at ARC Document Solutions from June 2023 to February 2024 and Development Team Lead at Ewarn System Private Limited from January 2021 to June 2023, where responsibilities included leading the product roadmap for various detection systems. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Researcher at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, contributing to a project focused on intelligent surveillance for smart city applications, and a Junior Research Fellow at CSIR-CSIO, working on optimizing automated wheelchair control systems. Dr. Deshmukh’s career began as a Junior System Engineer at Indivar Software Solutions, developing IoT products.
