Gautam Karnik is a Principal User Experience Designer with over two decades of expertise in UX, specializing in various domains including healthcare, finance, retail, and education. They have held significant roles in companies such as Capgemini, where they conducted user research for HSBC, and Nexus Development Center, where they developed an Electronic Medical Records product. Currently at Persistent Systems, Gautam leads large projects, conducts organization-wide trainings on Design Thinking, and supports presales and new offerings. They are committed to advancing the field of UX and continuously explore how Generative AI can enhance core methodologies. Gautam earned a Master of Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
