Gopal Sharma

Gopal Sharma currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of the Salesforce Business Unit at Persistent Systems, focusing on driving growth through differentiated offerings and strategic partnerships in sectors such as BFSI, healthcare and life sciences, and hi-tech. Prior to this, Gopal held the position of Vice President for Professional Services at Salesforce, managing end-to-end customer transformations for strategic banking clients. Gopal's extensive experience also includes roles at IBM, where responsibilities spanned overseeing consulting offerings around Salesforce & Cloud for banking clients, providing industry solutions in the MEA region, and leading a team in CRM & Analytics. Previous experience includes managing the CRM/BI practice at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and serving as a Systems Engineer at ABB. Gopal holds a General Management degree from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
