Vijay Moorthy

Vijay Moorthy is a Business Development Executive at Persistent Systems since March 2023, focusing on building partnerships and developing products and services in Analytics, Data Management, and AI. Prior to this, Vijay spent two decades at IBM in various roles, including Director of Netezza Product Development, leading a global product development team, and serving as Program Director for the Appliance Platform & Hardware Engineering while also contributing as an Organizational Change Consultant for IBM’s Corporate Service Corps in Malaysia. Previous positions at IBM include Senior Manager in Hardware & Systems Engineering, Manager of System Integration, and Hardware Infrastructure Team Lead. Vijay's early career includes senior engineering roles at Nauticus Networks, Inc. and Giganet. Vijay holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from The Ohio State University and a B.E in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
