Matt Rutter

Matt Rutter is a seasoned professional in the field of cyber security, currently serving as General Manager - Cyber Security at PERSOL APAC since October 2025. Prior to this role, Matt held various positions at WesTrac Cat, including Cyber Security Operations Lead and Senior Cyber Security Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed the management of cyber security services for approximately 4,500 end users. Experience also includes working at Triskele Labs as a Presales Solutions Architect and DFIR Engineer, contributing to security incident responses and forensic analysis. Earlier roles include Cyber Security Engineer at Ever Nimble, IT Systems Engineer at activIT systems, and positions in sales and management, demonstrating a diverse skill set across technical and operational roles. Matt holds a Graduate Certificate of Cyber Security from Charles Sturt University.
