Ayupe Obad

Ayupe Obad is a seasoned professional in laboratory operations with extensive experience in clinical laboratory science and management. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Laboratory Operations Support at Personalis, Inc. since February 2019, Ayupe also holds the position of CLS Technical Supervisor and Training Lead. Additionally, Ayupe has been a Sr. CLS at Kaiser Permanente since December 2017 and previously worked at Natera from November 2012 to 2018 in various roles, including Clinical Laboratory Scientist and Lab Manager for NIPT. Earlier career experiences include a position as Sr. Process Tech at Lam Research from 2007 to 2011 and as a Biological Student Aide at USDA-ARS in 2006. Ayupe holds a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Program certification from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from California State University - East Bay.
