Sam Khalouei

Sam Khalouei is a Senior Bioinformatician at Personalis Inc., where they create custom variant reports and develop next-generation sequencing (NGS) pipelines. Previously, Sam worked at The Hospital for Sick Children from 2016 to 2021, developing and optimizing whole exome and whole genome sequencing pipelines. Earlier, from 2014 to 2016, they established an NGS bioinformatics pipeline at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Sam holds an Hon. B. Sc. in Computer Science and Biology and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Toronto, along with a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from the University of Ottawa.
