Shannon Klinger

Shannon Thyme Klinger currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer and President of the Moderna Charitable Foundation, having joined Moderna in June 2021. Shannon is also an Advisory Board Member at PERSUIT® and a Board Member at Rejuveron Life Sciences AG and the Association of Corporate Counsel. Previously, Shannon held various leadership roles at Novartis from June 2016 to May 2021, including Chief Legal Officer and Chief Ethics, Risk and Compliance Officer. Additional experience includes serving as a Board Member at Rafael Holdings Inc and SIX Group, as well as Global Head Legal and General Counsel at Sandoz. Shannon's legal career began at Mayer Brown LLP as a Partner, following a position as SVP and General Counsel at Solvay Pharmaceuticals. Academically, Shannon earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and a JD with Honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
