Wayne Clarkson

Wayne Clarkson is the current Client Services Director at Pertemps Managed Solutions. Prior to this, they were the Network Development Director at Driver Hire from October 2007 to July 2011, responsible for sales growth and operational excellence through 100+ offices. Wayne was also Head of Driver Hire Training, offering a range of driver training options including Drivers CPC. Before Driver Hire, Wayne was the General Manager at Avery Weigh-Tronix from February 2004 to September 2007.

Wayne started their career at Supplies Team as the Sales Director from August 1996 to August 2003. Wayne then moved to trg logistics as Managing Director from August 2011 to July 2012 where they had full responsibility for a £25m SME recruitment, training & haulage business. Wayne introduced a new structure, standards and objectives across the whole business, as well as departmental restructure to improve sales focus & operational efficiency. Wayne also commissioned & designed a new mobile training classroom and introduced World Class Driver training programme. Furthermore, Wayne opened new offices in Dublin, Manchester & Leeds and implemented a corporate brand refresh across all media forms. Lastly, they built a new SMT team to lay foundations for future growth.

Wayne Clarkson reports to Lisa Thurkettle, Managing Director. They are on a team with Simon Julier - Director of Corporate Solutions, Dan Collins - Supply Chain Manager, and Wes Fortune - Corporate Business Manager.
