Jo Simpson

Jo Simpson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data management and analysis within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as a Subject Matter Expert at Peru Consulting since 2022, Jo supports the implementation of corporate metadata strategies. Previously, participation in the Chief Data Officer Summer School at Collibra furthered expertise in data leadership. From 2016 to 2020, Jo held the position of Analytical Section Head at NHS Digital, where contributions included advising on the National Data Architecture programme and leading an analytical team for mental health statistics. Experience also includes roles at NHS Information Centre as Senior Project Manager and as IT Development Manager at the Mental Health Act Commission, with earlier positions in web development and website management. Jo Simpson holds a BA in Modern Languages from the University of Bristol.
