Rob Roach

VP, Engineering at Perx Technologies

Rob Roach is currently the VP of Engineering at Perx Technologies. Rob was recruited as part of the founding team of Perx Technologies in January 2014, with a directive to help forge a new strategic direction for the company. Roach used SCRUM and Agile methodologies to build and lead a development team that successfully designed, implemented, and deployed loyalty as a platform service. This marked a strategic turn for the company from a bespoke application serving a single client to a multi-tenant service for loyalty and gamification.

The re-design enabled Perx to target and win enterprise accounts, particularly in the financial and transportation verticals. Perx successfully secured Series A funding in December 2015 from investors that include Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin and Golden Gate Ventures. Prior to their work at Perx, Roach served as the Chief Technology Officer at Taggo from January 2012 to December 2014.

Rob Roach obtained a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Rob also has a certification from the Scrum Alliance as a Certified Scrum Master.

They are on a team with Amrith Ganesh - VP, Marketing, Farheen Noorie - Head of Products, and Christopher Schweiger - CFO & COO. Rob Roach reports to Anna Gong, CEO & Founder.
