Maddy Reid

Maddy Reid has worked in the IT industry since 2009. Maddy began their career as an IT Intern at Integrated Research in 2009, followed by an IT Intern role at Macquarie Group in 2010. In 2013, they joined the Reserve Bank of Australia as an Application Developer, where they worked in an Agile environment to deliver a Java/J2EE payments processing system project. Her duties included working in a scrum team to develop the codebase, providing second-level production support, designing and implementing a front-end for the system, diagnosing and mitigating performance bottlenecks, and maintaining/upgrading the automated testing framework and continuous delivery toolsets. In 2018, Maddy Reid joined Pet Circle as a Solutions Architect and Technical Lead.

Maddy Reid obtained a Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) in Computer Science from the University of Sydney between 2009 and 2012. In December 2020, they also obtained an Associate Cloud Engineer certification from Google Cloud.
