Jinna Risdal

Jinna Risdal possesses extensive experience in education and nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as President of the Board of Directors for NW PBIS Network, Inc. since 2017, Jinna has been instrumental in advancing educational initiatives. As a National Program Educator for Evaluators and Evaluator for Therapy Animal Teams at Pet Partners since 2014, Jinna has contributed to the organization's mission of connecting individuals with therapeutic animal support. Additionally, Jinna operates J Risdal, Educational Consultant, LLC, focusing on training K-12 staff in implementing Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS). With a background as an Adjunct Professor at Seattle Pacific University and significant roles within Highline Public Schools, including Counseling Program Coordinator and McKinney Vento Homeless Student Education Program Coordinator, Jinna's expertise is further supported by a PhD in Humanistic Psychology from Union Graduate School, alongside a Master's from Sonoma State University and a Bachelor's from the University of Colorado Boulder.
