Michael Joyes is currently the Sustainability and Development Director at Petainer, where they lead a team focused on developing PET packaging solutions and overseeing sustainability and ESG reporting. Their extensive background includes previous roles as a Sustainability Director and Innovation Manager at Petainer, as well as a Program Manager for product development related to refillable bottles. Michael holds a PhD in Sustainable Chemical Technologies from the Bath Institute of Sustainability and Climate Change, complemented by a Master's degree in Sustainable Chemical Technologies and another in Chemistry from the University of Bath. Their academic journey began with multiple A Levels in Chemistry, Physics, Music Technology, and Computing at Truro and Penwith College.
