John Kowalewski

John Kowalewski is an experienced professional with a strong background in space planning and analysis, currently serving as a Floor Planning Analyst and Space Management Planner at Petco since April 2017. In this role, John contributes to the Micro Space Planning Team, focusing on space allocation and product placement across Petco’s extensive store network, utilizing JDA software to ensure visual merchandising consistency. Prior to Petco, John spent 28 years at Giant Eagle, Inc., where responsibilities included developing planograms as a Space Planning Analyst, managing website and email marketing content, and overseeing intranet development as a Programmer/Analyst. John has extensive experience in the retail sector, beginning as a Direct Store Delivery Receiver and Retail Service Clerk, managing significant inventory levels. John holds a degree from PennWest Edinboro.
