Mo Akram

Mo Akram serves as the VP of Recruiting at Petfolk since May 2022, focusing on transforming pet care through innovative technology and design. Akram is also the Founder of Venture Search Group, launched in April 2021. Previously, during a tenure at Freshly from February 2017 to April 2021 as Global Head of Talent, Akram successfully expanded the operational workforce significantly and played a critical role in launching multiple new facilities. Prior roles include Head of Professional Services at Howard-Sloan Search, Vice President at Robert Half, Senior Partner at Oliver Parks, Director at Starpoint Solutions, and Senior Management Consultant at RGA Consulting. Akram holds an MBA in International Business, Trade, and Tax Law, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Finance from Rutgers Business School.
