Ryan Finstad

Ryan Finstad has extensive experience in the business and media industries. Ryan began their career in 2004 as a Staff Writer at Asia Media. Ryan then went on to become an Editorial Intern at the Far Eastern Economic Review in 2005. In 2006, they served as a Research Analyst at Tractus Asia and as a Fellow at Princeton-in-Asia. From 2007 to 2014, Finstad worked at Sergeant's Pet Care Products, first as Director of International Operations and then as General Manager (Chief Officer) of their China-based subsidiary. Ryan then moved to Perrigo Company plc as Business Development Manager in 2014. In 2016, Finstad co-founded Tevra Brands and served as VP of Operations. Finally, in 2020, they co-founded PetFriendly and currently serves as Co-Founder and COO.

Ryan Finstad obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of California, Los Angeles in Comparitive Politics, Accounting, and Mandarin Chinese. Ryan then went on to earn a Master's degree from the University of San Diego in Supply Chain Management from the USD Knauss School of Business in 2012-2014. In 2007, they earned a Certificate of Advanced Mandarin Chinese from Donghua University. In 2008, they obtained a Global Logistics Specialist from California State University, Long Beach from The Center for International Trade and Transportation.
