Emma Shields has a diverse range of work experience in various fields. Emma started their professional journey as a Social Media Intern at Traditional Medicinals, Inc. in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Research Intern at Project Juice. The following year, Emma served as a Marketing Associate at We Are Guru. In 2018, they became an Environmental Educator at Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group while also being employed as a Student Employee at University of Puget Sound. In 2020, Emma took on the role of a Marketing Intern at Lundberg Family Farms before transitioning to their current position as an e-commerce Marketplace Amazon Associate at PetHonesty, where they focus on developing digital marketing strategies and optimizing Amazon product listings.

Emma Shields attended Tamalpais High School from 2011 to 2015. After completing high school, they enrolled in the University of Puget Sound, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology. Emma attended the university from 2016 to 2020. In 2019, Emma also had a study abroad experience at the University of Amsterdam, where they furthered their studies in Sociology and Anthropology.
