Petra Tutors is a mentorship-based learning platform built for students navigating international education.

Founded by students and graduates from international schools and globally focused universities, Petra was created in response to the increasingly transactional nature of modern tutoring. We believe education works best when students feel understood, supported, and guided by mentors who genuinely understand the academic systems they are navigating themselves.

Our mentors come from institutions including Keio University, the University of Hong Kong, the London School of Economics, TU Eindhoven, and Maastricht University, offering support across language learning, international school curricula, examination preparation, academic writing, and long-term educational development.

Beyond lessons themselves, Petra focuses on structured academic mentorship through personalised guidance, progress tracking, detailed lesson reporting, and flexible online or in-person learning designed around each student’s individual goals and learning style.

We are building a more human approach to education - one centred not only around performance, but around confidence, continuity, and long-term growth.
