Petregaz is focused on the importation, storage and wholesale distribution of LPG across emerging markets in Africa and India. 

Petregaz continues to develop its onshore infrastructure network to unlock reliable and cost-effective access to this cleaner energy source. This includes the 22.5 kt Richards Bay terminal in South Africa, launched in 2020 in partnership with Bidvest Tank Terminals, and the 34 kt Krishnapatnam terminal in India, which began operations in 2024. Tanga, Tanzania is set to follow, with additional developments underway in other key growth markets.

These VLGC-compatible, modern terminals are equipped to safely receive, store and dispatch LPG via sea and land, enabling reliable and flexible supply to commercial customers, industrial users and national distribution networks. Though Petregaz does not manage last-mile retail delivery, our infrastructure is essential to maintaining energy security and enabling the displacement of more polluting fuels such as charcoal and firewood. 

Supporting our downstream logistics, Petregaz, operates a fleet of modern trucks that delivers LPG throughout Southern Africa. This overland transport capability ensures timely, reliable delivery from terminals to our customers. By investing in scalable, resilient infrastructure and regional logistics, Petregaz helps unlock cleaner energy access, improve air quality and drive sustainable economic growth in the communities and countries we serve.
