Leonardo Cotrim

Leonardo Cotrim is a mechanical engineer with a PhD in Energy and Environment and over 18 years of experience in multinational companies. Currently, they serve as the 2nd Vice President of Crea-BA and are the Coordinator of the Mechanical Engineering Course at the Federal University of Recôncavo of Bahia, where they also work as a researcher and professor. Previous roles include Head of the Mechanical Systems Department at UFRB, and positions at Yazaki do Brasil LTDA., Gamesa, and Petrobras, where they contributed significantly to product development and quality assurance in automotive and energy sectors. Leonardo holds a Master's in Environmental Planning and is currently pursuing a postdoctoral degree at UFBA with a focus on mechatronics.
