Simon Shipley has extensive experience in both education and technology. Currently retired, Simon Shipley was a lecturer at Petroc from November 2009, focusing on teaching A Level Physics, maths, and BTEC Applied Science, while also managing programmes. Prior to this, Simon Shipley served as Head of Faculty at Ilfracombe College and held teaching positions in physics and science. Additionally, Simon Shipley has a background in technology, having worked as a Software Development Manager at Intelligent Environments and as a Director at 1st Concepts, specializing in web application development. Earlier career roles include a Research Associate at GEC Marconi Hirst Research Centre, with a focus on fiber optic components. Simon Shipley holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from The University of Sheffield.
