John Evans

John Evans, P.Eng, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in production engineering and reservoir management. Currently serving as a Senior Production Engineer at Petronas Energy Canada Ltd. since March 2017, John is involved in evaluating potential acquisition opportunities for royalty interest properties and existing oil batteries. Prior to this role, John worked at Evans Resource Management and Encana Corporation, optimizing gas and oil wells and managing various engineering projects in regions including Kaybob Duvernay and the Peace River Arch. John began the professional career at PanCanadian Petroleum as a Reservoir Engineer, focusing on pressure transient analysis and reservoir simulation. John holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, earned between 1994 and 1999.
