Avinash Kishore Kumar

Avinash Kishore Kumar is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry with extensive experience at PETRONAS since September 2006, currently serving as Senior Manager for Wells Fluids & Cementing. In this role, Avinash leads a team of engineers and manages drilling fluid, solid control, waste management, and cementing operations both domestically and in international waters, while embracing new technologies. Previous positions at PETRONAS include Principal Cementing and Head Cementing Operations, where Avinash focused on innovative cementing design and execution. Avinash began expertise in drilling fluids and geomechanics, planning and supervising engineering programs. Prior experience includes a Trainee Well Engineer role at Shell Malaysia. Avinash holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master's degree in Petroleum from UNSW, further enhancing expertise with a minor in Petroleum from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS.
