Chris B.

Chris B. is a seasoned geoscientist with extensive experience in exploration across various global regions, currently serving as Principal Geoscientist at PETRONAS since August 2015, focusing on the Asia Pacific sector. Previous roles include Exploration Director for Mexico and leadership positions dealing with Middle East and Central Asia at DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG from May 2014 to June 2015. Chris B. held significant positions at RWE from July 2007 to April 2014, overseeing exploration in the Nile Delta and Western Desert of Egypt, as well as serving as Senior New Ventures Geologist for FSU and Eastern Europe. Earlier experience includes work as Exploration Geoscientist for Australia and New Zealand at OMV E&P and various exploration roles at RWE and IES Integrated Exploration Systems GmbH. Chris B. holds an MSc in Petroleum Geoscience from IFP School and an MSc in Geology from RWTH Aachen University, complemented by a BSc in Geology from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg.
