Hashim Othman

Hashim Othman is a Principal Engineer at PETRONAS, having joined the company in August 2008, with extensive experience in engineering design, project management, and quality assurance. Key projects include leading Front End Engineering Design for various plants and conducting Fitness for Service Assessments, along with managing Risk Based Inspection and Scheme of Examination initiatives. Prior to PETRONAS, Hashim Othman worked at Tenaga Nasional Berhad from February 1998 to July 2008, serving as Head of Materials Engineering Group and leading multiple research and development projects. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical & Material Engineering from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
