Kumar Nathan is a seasoned petroleum engineer with extensive experience at PETRONAS since December 2012, currently serving in the Petroleum Asset Excellence (PAE) team. Key achievements include leading the Fairley Baram Abandonment workshop and conducting techno-commercial evaluations for well and facility abandonments. As the lead petrophysicist for the Temana Full Field Review, Kumar delivered critical petrophysical inputs for static and dynamic modeling, contributing to new Field Development Plans with significant oil gains. Additionally, Kumar has been involved in various logging operations and workflows for wells in multiple regions, presenting a paper on successful logging techniques. Prior experience includes a trainee position at Carigali Hess Operating Company, where support was provided to reservoir and drilling engineers.
